Dean Holland’s, Starting with Marketing Academy is awesome. Just to recap, we have been through two of Dean Holland’s modules; “The BBB Formula, and “Social Slaughter”.
“The BBB Formula” stands for the basic building blocks. After completing Dean Holland’s BBB Formula, I was able to create this blog that you see before you. That was only the first module.
The second module was called “Social Slaughter”. I actually started a new Twitter account specifically for my business. If you want to look me up you can find my Twitter page here. Because of what Dean Holland has taught us in his Starting with Marketing Academy I was able to go from zero followers on July 31st, to 1,009 followers as of today August 8th. Dean’s Starting With Marketing Academy rocks!
Internet marketing can be puzzling sometimes, but we are learning more and more each module. By the time I complete the Starting With Marketing Academy I expect to have the internet marketing puzzle solved, and I then I will teach you.
I made this short video just to introduce myself to you and talk about Dean, Starting With Marketing, and this confusing internet marketing puzzle. It’s my first video blog, so please be kind with your comments
they will get better the more of them I do.
All the best,
Ed

ED WOW! I’m so proud of you for taking such a great step in your progress.
The video was very heartfelt and I really believe you are in this to help others.
And you will be more relaxed the more of them you do. The first one is always the toughest!
Great job again, and loved the cube concept.
Tammie
Thanks Tammie, and thank you for watching my video. That was uncomfortable. Eeeessh…
Anywho, I will do more and I know they will get better. Thanks so much for your support. I appreciate it.
It’s your turn next.
Thanks again,
Ed
Great work Ed, your really setting a good example for us newbie students in the SWM Academy…good on you buddy. Well this video thing scares me but hey it has to be done, so I’ll be workin on mine too.
Keep up the great work champ…I know you’ll be a success because you take ACTION… Take Care..
Steve
Hi Steve,
Thank you for your comment. Yeah, for sure. I did not want to do it… but I did. If that makes any sense. So I just sat down and did it. I think that it’s good to have people see that you are a real live breathing actual person. It only took me about seven takes, and I’m still not real happy with it. My wife tells me that I am too much of a perfectionist, so I decided to let it go and use this one. I can’t wait to see yours.
Thanks again Steve,
Ed
Great video Ed,
I like the way you incorporated the rubic’s cube into your talk. By the way, you’re pretty fast at putting that cube back in order, and this while you’re talking to us, the viewers. That takes some kind of concentration dude. Talk about multi-tasking, WOW!

Ed:
This is HUGE! Great video blog (vlog? veblog?) Very natural speaking and although the Rubiks cube was a nice analogy, it became a bit of a distraction during the whole video. 5 stars!
Ralph
Hi Ed,
Nice work. You are sincere and enthusiastic. Your first video is excellant. I liked the rubic cubic analogy. So true to figuring out just what works in Internet Marketing. You have a bright future. Enjoy the journey. No need to be overly self-concious. In answer to how you are you doing? It’s just fine.
Take Care my friend and talk soon,
Rob
Hi Rob. Thanks very much for your input.
I value your opinion as you have done several of these.
I know I will get better as I make more of them.
Thanks again,
Ed
Thanks for your honest opinion.
I did have to solve it though, to illustrate how we are solving this internet puzzle with the help of Dean Holland. : )
I can see though how it would be a distraction. Again, your honesty is appreciated.
Thanks very much,
Ed
Hi Mike.
Thanks very much.
By the time we finish Starting With Marketing I know we will have solved this puzzle.
The nice thing is that we can share our successes with each other.
Again, thanks so much for your comment.
All the best,
Ed
Oh My Gosh!! Ed…That was amazing! Your first video. Sooooo coool! I am so glad to be with you in SWM! Proud of you!
You aren’t a GEEK, you are a GENIUS!!! How did you get that cube back together so fast!?! Dang! Ed, I am gonna walk taller now just because I know you! Stick my nose in the air! HAHA not really, but I am so proud of you! Dang!!
See you soon!!
Lisa
Hi Ed,
I read threw your post and watched the video. I want to say that the video was awesome. We are getting into video marketing as well with Alex Jeffreys, haven’t made my first one yet but it is coming very soon.
I’m not sure if I can do that cube thing, played with it for many years and still haven’t figured it out, LOL.
Anyway blog looks good, video I thought was amazing, keep up the good work.
Oh, I also added myself to the many people that are now following you on Twitter.
Later

I wish you the best of luck in your Alex Jeffreys class.
You’ll do great I’m sure.
Thanks again,
Ed
Thank you Lisa. Isn’t SWM great. We are learning so much.
Like I said, it’s like waiting for Christmas to come.
Can’t wait for the next module.
Thanks again,
Ed
Ed mate! Looking good on that video there! I still haven’t done a video – I know I’m going to need to but I keep putting it off. The Rubik’s cube was very nicely done!
Looking forward to reading more from you!
Thank you sir. Much appreciated.
You need to get back in the swing of things with the cube. You can do it. Yeah, like you have nothing better to be doing.
Thanks again Brian,
Ed
Ed, that was BRILLIANT mate
When you’re speaking, what comes through is that you are speaking from the heart, it makes us trust you, and like you….
Nice solve, btw, what’s your best time? Mine is 56 secs. If we ever meet, I’ll show you my blindfolded solve
Good luck man, see you in the forums
Phil
http://www.philainsworth.com
Hi Phil! Wow! You can do it blindfolded?
My best time was 35 seconds, but I average 1 min.
Thanks very much for your comment. I am impressed that you can do it blindfolded.
You’re the master!
Thanks,
Ed
Hi Ed
Fantastic video and very inspirational as well..you came across very sincere and humble. I love how you incorporated the rubik’s cube into your story..makes it unique from the other videos out there.
WOW very impress at how quick you put the cube together, it would of taken me months
Avis
Hi Avis. Thanks very much for your comment.
You WILL be able to solve this puzzle easier than I did in the video. We have Dean on our side, and he’s our guide.
We will do it. I have solved that cube thousands of times, it’s so easy for me. This will be easy for us soon enough because we want it so bad.
See you on the other side of success my friend.
All the best,
Ed
Ed NICE video man! That takes mad skillz to do a rubiks cube and talk at the same time… I applauded you for that LOL.
6 sides and 6 modules…. Coincidence? I think not!
-Cuzin Tim
Hi Cuzin Tim,
Thanks for the kudos on my video. Once you’ve done it a
few hundred times, it’s like riding a bike, you barely have
to think about it.
In fact, I want my business to be like that. You work hard
at first to learn it, but then it’s like riding a bike (autopilot).
By the way, nice call on the, “6 sides and 6 modules”. I
wish that I have though of that. No, “I think not”.
All the best,
Ed
Hey Ed
Great post, loved the way you broke down the modules. Really informative.
Keep up the great work.
Kerie
Hi Kerie,
Thanks very much. You and I will soon both have the tools we need
to solve this internet marketing puzzle. Your blog looks clean and
we just need to stay consistent and we will do great. Thanks so much
for visiting my blog.
Thanks again and all the best,
Ed
Ed
Amazing concept to use the cube for parallels to internet marketing. I can tell in the past you had way too much time on your “hands.” Great job and video and keep on keepin on.
I just posted my first video on my blog yesterday so hop over there NOW and leave a comment for me. I have to warn you, I do not have a cube.
Roger Neumann
Go out and make it a successful day!
Ed
I just saw your video and left a message on your blog. Great job.
I posted my first video yesterday on my blog so hop over there NOW and leave a comment.
Thanks
Roger
Go out and make it a successful day!
Hi Roger,
Thank you for the comment. It’s not that I had too much time on my hands as much as I didn’t have any friends. LOL, just kidding.
I tried to go to your website to check our your video, but it’s not working right now for some reason. Please let me know when it’s up and running again, or if you need any help.
Thanks again,
Ed
Hey Ed,
Man you did a great job on the vid, even if there was some imperfection atleast it was you and real being honest and respectful and sincere. I don’t know if the cube was for an analogy or not or if it was something of a comfort zone for you because you was nervous but I still can’t put one of those things back right. Look how far we’ve already come. I better get mine together soon.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for stopping by. Yeah I was a bit nervous.
And that was about my 30th take. Well, as the
saying goes. Practice makes perfect, right?
Thanks again,
Ed
